The Institution of Engineering and Mining Surveyors Australia Incorporated is the Industry's premier recognised organisation accrediting and certifying Engineering and Mining Surveyors in Australia wide as well as offering International analysis and equivalency examination of qualification for professionals moving to Australia and taking up permanent work positions.
The Institution was founded 1986 and has transcended many business altering situations to remain at the forefront as the national identity with Surveying Boards and industry affiliates providing Certification and Accreditation of its practicing specialists in the fields of Engineering/Mining Surveying.
IEMS Australia's mission is to be a representative organisation that promotes, certifies, accredits Engineering and Mining Professionals in Australia and Overseas and will interface on behalf of its membership in negotiaitons affected by legislation, rules, governances and Surveying Boards which may affect the members Registration and workplace rights and recognition.
Our membership is professional, cost effective and provides the requisite recognition for members to tender on projects.
